Adoracion Gueco Ramos

Adoracion ‘Doring’ Gueco Ramos of North Hollywood, Calif., passed away peacefully Jan. 3, 2021, after a lingering illness. She was 91.
Doring was born Sept. 10, 1929, to Virginia Jingco Cancio and Feliciano Dayrit Gueco of Guagua, Pampanga, Philippines. Doring studied in St. Theresa’s and St. Scholastica’s in Manila. After high school, she went on to study at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and graduated with a bachelor’s in commerce.
Doring was married to the late Dr. Augusto J. Ramos. She is survived by her seven
children Victor (Nenita) Ramos, Dr. Augusto (Gracita) Ramos Jr. , Louis (Excella) Ramos, Virginia (Manolito) Arias, Cecilia (Jose Ma.) de Jesus, Dr. Asuncion (Dr. Ramon) Soriano, and Evelyn (Erwin) Cura; 14 grandchildren Dr. Victor and Valerie; Dr. Christine (Dr. Renee) and Auguste; Timothy; Michael, Mitchell and Matthew; Rainier; Raymond, Rachelle and Ryan; Ethan and Erik; great grandson Zachary; and sister Anita G. Tinio.
A private funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sat., Jan. 9, at Angeleno Valley Mortuary (5423 Tujunga Blvd.) in North Hollywood, Calif. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (5835 W. Slauson Ave.) in Culver City,
