Jennifer Winkler

Jennifer Winkler, 57, passed away early in the morning of January 15, 2019. Hers was a life of joy, theater, arts, children, friends, and family. She was a performer, a teacher, a non-certified life coach, a mentor, a musician, a comedian, an animal lover, an activist, always the host of the party, always the life of the party, always bringing people together. She was a non-certified critic, a humanitarian, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. She didn’t know a stranger. Her adventurous life led her to all ends of the earth starting with community theater from the west coast to the east coast; on to Crystal Cruises as lead vocalist travelling all over the South Seas; to a professional tour as Evita (her favorite role); to New York for a time; then back to California where she established JW Studios giving voice and piano lessons; but she gave more than music lessons – she focused on helping them to be the best human that they could be. She was always giving back. Along with all of this, she performed as a professional Christmas caroler, for nearly 30 years – never missing a Christmas season. Though teaching was her primary business, recently she began an independent “little side gig” with Rodan & Fields, where she excelled and brought others with her to share her success. We will all miss Jennifer – she was everyone’s BFF!
