Robin Steffan

Robin Gail Steffan was born in Panorama City, California, on October 10, 1953 to Robert Francis Steffan and Marquetta (Desmond) Steffan. She went to heaven on Friday, October 22, 2021. She grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles and spent most of her life there, having also lived in Pine Mountain Club, CA; Riverside CA; Victorville CA; and Shelton, WA.
As a child she attended Catholic school and she never lost her love for Jesus, which was only surpassed by her love for animals and her only child, Dylan. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, she spent most summer nights playing “Ditchim” with the rest of the neighborhood kids and her siblings. Later, she worked as a bartender, for a time owning and
managing her own bar, Shadey’s, in Van Nuys, CA.
She was an artist who worked with paints, beads, and lights. She always decorated her home in her unique style with many twinkle lights, fairies, and colors. She loved music and went to many concerts and events, with her favorites being Led Zeppelin, Stevie Knicks, Heart, The Beatles, and of course her brothers Bob and Dickie’s bands. She took her sister Renee, who was 14 at the time, to a Led Zeppelin concert, which turned out to be their first of many.
Robin was a friend to all who met her, and she was always willing to help someone in need or just offer an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Robin is survived by her son, Dylan Tucker; her brothers Robert and Richard Steffan; her sister, Renee Miller; nieces Shadeya Mellon; Shannon, Sheryl and Melissa Miller; and nephew Bobby Steffan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marquetta Steffan.
A celebration of Robin’s life will be planned for early 2022.
The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has a made a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in Robin’s honor. Donations can also be made to the Best Friends Animal Society.
