Rosita “Rose Luzviminda” Abrigo Miramontes, age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Barstow Community Hospital.

Born on July 1955 as Luzviminda Herwela Abrigo and fondly called "Minda" by her family since her birth July 16,1955 in Olongapo City, Philippines to the late Napoleon Abrigo and Delfina Herwela.


A born vocalist, Rose was once a featured singer for the local radio station in the Philippines at age 16. Later, she would graduate Summa cum laude from a University of the Philippines.


Rose was an Executive Collector at Bank of America for almost 30 years, a Foster parent, and later became a local realtor in the High Desert.

Music and fashion has always played a pivotal role in her life. Aside from singing, she enjoyed tennis, sports cars, attending various concerts and shows, and was an avid collector of romance novels.


She lived near Boston, MA for a few years before coming to California and called home cities of Glendale, Burbank, Pacoima and Barstow.

Rose is survived by her second husband Martin Miramontes, sons Ariel & Harvey Miramontes, daughter Gia Ryan Olaes, and numerous foster children.
