Ute's journey was filled with incredible achievements. She was a loving wife and devoted mother
to two wonderful children, bringing love and joy to their lives. Her passion for helping others led
her to study social work in Germany, and she dedicated her life to making a positive impact on
people's lives in Germany, Austria, France, and the USA.
Known for her warm smiles and caring nature, Ute had a way of making everyone feel welcome
and loved. Ute was proud that her curiosity and passion for cooking and baking is so warmly
embraced by her adoring children. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world, and
her love for travel took her to many destinations, but the beach held a special place in her heart.
Ute was a true friend to many, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. She
cherished her role as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, and her presence in our lives
will be deeply missed.
Throughout her life, Ute displayed immense strength and courage as she bravely fought cancer
for seven years. Despite the challenges she faced, she never lost her loving spirit and remained
an inspiration to those around her.
Ute Kaspar, born on December 27, 1973, in Germany, left us at the age of 49 on July 20, 2023,
surrounded by her loving family and friends. Ute spent her formative years in Germany with her
affectionate family until she followed her husband and moved to the United States. She was a
remarkable woman who touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and compassion.
Ute is survived by her college friend and longtime husband, Lema Kebede, her children Lucas
and Leah, her father Karlheinz Kaspar, her mother Irmgard Kaspar (ne’ Drevermann), her sister
Ruth, her many nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins, aunts, and friends.
Though Ute Kaspar has left this earthly realm, her spirit, the precious memories she gifted, and
the love she shared with each of us will forever live on in our hearts. We are grateful for the time
we had with her and the indelible mark she left on our lives.
Rest in eternal peace, dearest Ute. Your love and light will continue to guide us through the days
ahead. Your legacy of kindness and compassion will forever live on in our hearts.
With love and fond memories,
